Interactive weaving workshop at INTERMIX residency 
by the Visual Arts and Fashion Commissions of the Saudi Ministry of Culture, curated by Tara Al-Dughaither and managed by ATHR.

The residency intersects between ideas rooted in local traditions around natural sanctuaries or ‘al Hima’, as well as in post human studies concerned with the human in affinity with one another and different species.   participating artists: Anthony Liguer-Laubhouet, Chakir Hani, Claire Dartigues, Elham Dawsari, Hana Almilli, Helena Bajaj Larsen, Huda Beydoun, Jana Ghalayini, Mashail Faqeeh, Noor Ebrahim, Sara Abdu, Shayma Saleh Is a gateway to innovation, a hands on making procedure with contemporary means and an open field of experimentation. Engages both fashion and visual artists through an ontological as well as practical exploration of tensions within aesthetic production and use of both human and non human resources, forms and modes of making.
